Amanda is an experienced digital strategist for grassroots organizing and fundraising within the progressive political space. Leading up to the 2024 presidential election, she served as the Digital Organizing Director for the Democratic National Committee, where she was responsible for digital strategy across web, email, SMS and social media content for mobilizing volunteers, combatting disinformation, and educating voters. Prior to this, she served as the Digital Lead for Feed the Truth, holding food corporations accountable to better transparency. And also served as the National Organizing SMS Director at Biden for President (BFP) mobilizing millions voters and volunteers across the country on mobile broadcast for the 2020 general election.
As a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, she believes in serving as a thought partner centering Black and brown voices and those most impacted in order to achieve collective liberation and build authentic relationships with volunteers and supporter bases. Amanda has lived in Sri Lanka, Australia, and served as a part of the first 20 placements in West Java in Peace Corps Indonesia. Born and raised in New York, she called Washington, DC home for 17 years before transitioning her family to Houston, TX. She graduated with a bachelor’s in studio art: multimedia and a minor in international development from American University. Whether in the professional or personal realm, Amanda is brave, humorous, and resolute.
